N1MM settings in order to activate UDP Broadcasting =================================================== For external UDP broadcasts there are some lines to add to the N1MM logger. ini file. This has to be done with an external text editor (there is no UI for this option). Not a wordprocessor! When the section [ExternalBroadcast] is not there is has to be added. An example is: [ExternalBroadcast] DestinationIPs=127.0.0.1 192.168.1.56 DestinationPort=12060 Keep 12060 as the application n1mm_dxk_gw_wu uses this port ! IsBroadcastAppInfo=True IsBroadcastContact=True IsBroadcastRadio=True DestinationIPs= Start with IP address 127.0.0.1 (the pc you are running on) and add other PC's IP-addresses (space delimited). You can send to only one destination port. DestinationPort= The UDP port to use. Defaults to 12060 IsBroadcastAppInfo=True Broadcast Application Info. Defaults to False IsBroadcastContact=True Broadcast Contact Info. Defaults to False. MUST BE TRUE if logging to DXKeeper shall be used. IsBroadcastRadio=True Broadcast Radio Info. Defaults to False. MUST BE TRUE if Update to WEBSIte shall be used. CORRECT INI SETTINGS IN THE n1mm_dxk_gw_wu.ini FILE =================================================== The ini file must be correctly configured by YOU and has the following form: [WEBUPDATE] DoWebUpdate=1 = 1 if you want to send status-html to your webserver FTP_host_name=la0fa.com = YOUR web-adress where the html file shall be sent for displaying on your website FTP_localfile=c:\radio1.htm = YOUR path/filename where the application shall store the status html file on your PC FTP_remotefile=public_html/radio1.htm = YOUR path/filename related to root-directory on your website FTP_username=your FTP username = YOUR FTP username on YOUR weberserver FTP_password=your FTP password = YOUR FTP password on YOUR weberserver Radiotype=FT-950 = YOUT Radio Type (this is not broadcasted from N1MM) [Gateway] DoDXKGateway=0 = 1 if your want realtime logging to the DXKeeper COMMENTS ======== THIS INITIAL VERSION OF GATEWAY SOFTWARE FORWARDS THE LOGGING DATAFIELDS FROM N1MM AS IS TO DXKEEPER. THE XML FORMAT FROM N1MM is straight forward copied to the corresponding fields in DXKeeper: .CQWWSSB .71 .22-6-2008 7:04:00 .PA1M .14 .1420100 .1420100 .PA1M .USB .K1TTT .K .K1 .PA1M . .59 .233 .59 .0 . . --> goes to SRX_STRING in DXKEEPER, meaning as example the DOK in WAG contest will occur in the RX String of DXKeeper and will need copying to DOK field as "after-treatment" .
