I have developped a small gateway software which fullfills the above two tasks. The program is written in Visual Basic 6. The zip file which you can download here includes everything you need. A short instruction in readme.txt is also included. After downloading the *.zip file you can install the software with the *.msi file.  You need to adapt the .ini file with your FTP username and password when using the frequency/mode update to your webserver. In the *.ini file you also can set if you want to use the realtime logging function and the webupdate function.
